About Student Financial Services

Our office is located on the first floor in Building A of the University Center. Please visit the campus map for directions.

 

While our primary responsibility is to collect tuition and other university fees, we also process financial aid disbursements and third party billings. In fact in a recent article, we are proud to say that the USA Today ranked the Florida State University as the university with the second least expensive tuition rates in the nation. As part of our dedication to better serve our students, we have made many services available online. Students can access their billing statements as well as make payments online.  These services and more can be found at sfs.fsu.edu as well as at our sister site, mymoney.fsu.edu.

Mission Statement

It is the primary mission of the Office of Student Financial Services to:

 

• Serve as University Cashier, responsible for accurately receipting, depositing and recording the collection of University monies.
• Deliver financial aid to University students as well as performing the required exit interviews, where appropriate.
• Maintain, bill and collect University accounts receivable, including campus based student loans.
• Ensure proper accounting and compliance of financial aid activities.
