At Florida State University, Student Financial Services maintains over 40,000 student and departmental accounts through collection, billing, and financial counseling. Our mission is to provide students and staff with quality financial services, in a friendly and timely manner.
All fees currently owed to the university can be accessed and paid through fees.fsu.edu. Current students will be prompted to log-in to Blackboard. Non-credit students will use their SSN as their identification number, in order to make payments. Online payments accepted by Florida State University include VISA, American Express, Mastercard, Discover, FSU Card, and Electronic Check.
Florida State University will begin assessing a technology fee in August of 2009. This new fee has been approved by the Board of Trustees in accordance with state regulation 1009.24.13.s. The regulation reads as follows:
1009.24 State university student fees.-- 13) Each university board of trustees is authorized to establish the following fees:
(s) A technology fee of up to 5 percent of the tuition per credit hour, beginning with the fall term of the 2009-2010 academic year. The revenue from this fee shall be used to enhance instructional technology resources for students and faculty. The technology fee shall not be included in any award under the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
